WE LIVE A JESUS-CENTERED LIFE DEMONSTRATED BY OUR DIRECTION AND DECISIONS

Through prayer and application of what we learn from the Bible, we follow Jesus’ example of seeking God’s will instead of our own. We say ‘yes’ to God’s will and God’s way…everything He wants for us, to do in us, and to do through us. It shows in our daily decisions, big and small.

We relentlessly pursue personal growth

Everyone is welcome here, because Jesus died for everyone and it is our honor to share His story with all who would listen. So, regardless of where each of us start, we are all on a personal journey to grow closer to God. We do that by reading, studying, memorizing the Bible, and applying what it teaches to our lives every day. We are committed to this responsibility and believe it is a life-long pursuit so that we can become more and more like Jesus.

We forge and nurture faith-filled relationships

Our mission is so important that we don’t dare do it alone. We need one another. More than just friends who have fun together – and we really do like to have fun! – our church family encourages one another, helps carry each other’s heavy burdens, and provides accountability. We prioritize establishing strong bonds with our faith community because it is one of our most valuable assets as we live on mission.

WE CONTRIBUTE, NOT MERELY CONSUME

God has given each of us a role to play in the fulfillment of our mission; no one sits out. Following Jesus’ example, we generously serve others, share our talents, and give our treasure for God’s glory.

WE EMBRACE JOY AND THE ADVENTURE OF FOLLOWING JESUS

Life is an adventure filled with highs and lows. Regardless of our circumstances, our relationship with Jesus affects the lens through which we see the world. In Him alone, we find a full and abundant life, something this world cannot offer. This truth carries us through everything life throws at us and it is the reason we can embrace joy in every season.

We intentionally influence our world for Jesus

God intends for us to be His influence anywhere and everywhere we are. We are not bound by Sunday. We pursue our mission day in and day out – anywhere our daily life takes us. We believe that everyone has a unique sphere of influence which is made up of the people that we interact with, talk to, or cross paths with on a regular basis. So, our church family fuses intentionality into our existing rhythms and routines in order to build relationships with and influence those who don’t yet know Jesus, in the hope that they might come to know Him. It’s about using all that God has given us to reach people for Jesus.

God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, The Bible, Salvation, Eternity....

We believe there is one God who is Creator and Maker of the universe; existing eternally and manifesting himself in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit who are one in essence and equal in power and glory.

I’m married to beautiful wife Heather. We have three children: Cobie, Cameron, and Cali Ann. Before I planted LifePointe in 2003, I had 10 years combined service as Youth Pastor at First Christian Church in Napa, CA, Sylvan Oaks Christian Church in Citrus Heights, CA, and Christ Church of the Valley (CCV) in San Dimas, CA.

I love spending time with my family. We enjoy board games, water sports, backpacking, camping, bike rides and just about anything else outdoors. I love to read and also watch movies or mini-series based on true stories. My favorite personal activity is waterskiing.
