LP Students – American River Float

All students are invited to join us as we spend the morning floating down the American River together!

• Meet LifePointe at 7:30am. We leave at 8am – do not be late!
• We start Sunrise Recreation Area, ending Watt Ave. This takes approximately 3.5 hours.
• Bring money for lunch. On the way home we will be stopping for In-n-Out
• We expect to arrive back in Elk Grove by 2:30p. (We will ask students to call their parent/guardian at lunch with a more accurate ETA.)
• Bring your own flotation devices. We will have limited devices available but we cannot provide something for everyone
• Please leave your tube, etc. deflated when you arrive that morning. We will have air compressors available when we reach the river
• Due to the nature of this trip, we are asking that everyone who is able to come feel comfortable in their swimming ability in the river.
• Dress Code: For ALL LP Students events, modest one-piece swimsuits must be worn.
