Men’s Retreat 2025

Join other guys from LifePointe as we get away to connect with God and one another! We’ll be spending the weekend at Del Oro Camp & Conference Center in Nevada City.

EARLY BIRD PRICE: SAVE $20 (good thru Mon, Sep 15):

  •  Lodge – $265
  •  Cabin – $210

REGULAR PRICE (good for Sep 16-26):

  •  Lodge – $285
  •  Cabin – $230

Deposit: $100 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration
Last day to register: Friday, September 26.

LODGING TYPES:

  • Lodge: All Lodge rooms will have at least two people per room. Be sure to indicate if you have roommate preferences.
  • Cabin: Bunkbed style beds (12-16 people per cabin), attached bathroom and shower in each cabin, access to additional bathhouse.

Schedule:

  • Friday: Check-in opens @ 4:30pm, first session starts @ 7:15pm
  • Sunday: Ends around 11am

Food:

  • Friday: Dinner provided at Del Oro @ 5:30pm
  • Sat & Sun: All meals provided on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning

Students:

  • High school Juniors and up are welcome to attend.

RETREAT SPEAKER: PASTOR DAN GUTE

Pastor Dan grew up in Guatemala, Central America, the son of missionaries. He is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton College, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He served in youth ministry for over 14 years, then as the lead pastor for 25 years in what became a multi-ethnic and church planting congregation on the southside of Chicago.  Before his retirement from full-time pastoral ministry, he served for almost 6 years as the restart and location pastor for New Life Community Church in Hobart, IN, the 25th location of the New Life Community Church of Chicago. In his retirement, he has served as an interim pastor and continues to mentor younger pastors and fellow Christ-followers.

He and his wife, Diann, have been married for 42 years and have three adult children, Sarah (married to Tim), Derek (married to Erin) and Melinda (married to Arden) and 7 grandchildren. He is a loyal (albeit frequently disappointed) Chicago Bears fan and a Chicago White Sox fan…just to provide some in-home rivalry (and to irritate Derek). He enjoys woodworking, golf and cycling.
