Backpack Project

LifePointe is partnering with Starting Point to help kindergarten through 12th-grade refugee children in the Elk Grove/Sacramento area begin the new school year prepared! We will collecting new backpacks and school supplies for kids who often arrive to the country with very little.

Purchase a backpack and fill it with supplies* listed below (backpack does not have to contain all items):

• spiral notebooks
• binder
• binder paper
• pocket folders
• no. 2 pencils
• pencil sharpener
• erasers
• highlighters
• glue sticks
• note cards
• pens (black or blue ink)
• crayons or colored pencils
• scissors
• pencil pouch or box
• water bottle
• We also accept individual items

* Please do not purchase items with any war-related icons on them.

Drop Off Instructions:

Donations may be dropped off at LifePointe Monday-Wednesday, 9am-4pm; Thursdays 9am-8pm, and during Sunday services.
