We believe that effective child discipleship is made up of three components working together, and we incorporate all three in our discipleship for kids: Believe, Become and Belong. We want kids to say “I believe in Jesus Christ, I’m becoming more like Him, and I belong to Him forever.” The goal is for kids to navigate a changing culture, build a strong foundation of faith, and love Jesus for the rest of their lives.
Nursery (Infants and Toddlers)
Our nursery provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for our youngest children. Caring volunteers engage little ones with play, songs, and love, while parents enjoy the service with peace of mind. Every child is welcomed, cared for, and reminded of God’s love from the very beginning of their faith journey.
Early Childhood (3 years old-Kindergarten)
Our Early Childhood classes consist of age-appropriate lessons that engage kids in the stories of the Bible. Kids discover who God is as we lay the foundations for a lifetime of following Jesus. We worship, pray, and hear about Jesus. During the year, they will have 12 memory verses.
Elementary (1st-6th Grade)
Our Elementary classes help children continue to build on the foundation of faith development. We desire for each child to know that God has a plan for his or her life and he or she is never too young to be used by God. Elementary kids connect with the Bible through Gospel-focused teaching, interactive activities, and conversations with loving, caring adults. During the year, elementary kids will have 12 memory verses.
We have an incredible team of people who are dedicated to serving in the LP Kids Ministry: First Impressions Team, Teachers, Subs, Assistants, Midweek Prep, Events, Worship, Tech…The possibilities are endless! If you love the next generation, want to make an impact in their lives, or have a hidden talent to share – there is no greater joy than leading children to Christ!

We love to host events outside of Sunday mornings for the purpose of having fun, building relationships and sharing Jesus. Past events include Jingle Jam, fall festivals, family events, Kids Camp, and more! …And we love to make a big deal out of our annual Summer VIBE program!
