Sat: 9am-7pm
Our culture has taken a strong stance on the topic of sexuality… From schools, to legislation, to social media, this topic effects our daily life. This is no different for our students.
They are constant conversation about this topic, often with many different perspectives and opinions flying around. Our goal is to enter into the conversation with students and engage with them in the discussion of what it looks like to take a Christian perspective on sexuality. We also hope to equip parents to continue these important conversations in the lives of their children, as we know that parents are the primary disciplers of their own son(s)/daughters(s).
This will be a weekend filled with deep discussion and heavy topics. This is not necessarily the weekend you send your son(s)/daughter(s) to in order to have “the talk” done for you – this will be a weekend of engaging and building a Christian Worldview on the topic of sexuality.
With that said, I strongly desire every student will come! I believe it will be vital information and conversations for building up our students to understand, defend, and love sexuality as it was designed by God.
The topics that will be taught/discussed throughout this weekend:
- Sexuality and our Identity (Fri. pm)
- Pornography, Lust, and Addiction (Sat. am)
- Sexual Abuse (Sat. pm)
- Homosexuality and Gender (Sat. pm)
