Welcome to FusionX, the Youth Fellowship here at LifePointe! We exist to share the Biblical truths of God’s redemptive love with young people and facilitate their journey of becoming genuine disciples of Jesus Christ. Your participation in this exciting ministry will help meet the spiritual and social needs of our youth by providing committed leadership, guidance, and support to a wonderful group of teens who call LifePointe their Christian family.

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER
Sunday mornings – 10:30 AM
This is a combined JH and HS study, where biblical truths are applied to today’s youth culture. This is a great entry point into the Fusion-X Ministry, where good teaching is combined with safe interaction with a larger group.

Tuesday evenings – 6:30 PM
A small group study designed for JH and HS students. Relevant issues are discussed, seeking the guidance of God’s Word. Meeting in the home of Sabrina Alley (9313 Mapleview Wy.). Contact Sabrina at 684-9252.

Wednesday evenings – 6:30 PM
An in-depth study for High School students, going through large sections of scripture, verse by verse, looking at the context of which the scripture was written and how it applies to our lives today. Meeting at the HUB (3133 Dwight Rd., Ste. 200). Contact Pastor Trey at 271-5559.

ACTIVITIES
From time to time we get the kids together and just have fun! These times are for building relationships, learning that people can have fun within the guidelines of God’s Word, and creating great memories. We’ve done things from Wii nights to bowling to movie nights. Contact Jon Lee at (916) 753-7388 to see what’s coming up on the schedule.

SPIRITUAL DEEPENING EXPERIENCES
Winter Camp
Each year we partner with SunGrove Community Church to give our kids a camp-style setting to grow deeper in their spiritual lives. Camp is filled with relevant and fun teaching, experiences of deep worship through music and post-modern thought, building friendships, and “getting away from it all.” Winter Camp is scheduled every year during the Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend.

Summer Camp
We’ve begun what hopefully will become a good tradition last year as we shaped a camp experience around Spirit West Coast, a 3-day Christian Music event in Monterey, CA. This is a time designed to bring the group closer together as a group, to challenge the young people spiritually, and to enjoy some of the contemporary Christian music alternatives that are available to young people today. Summer Camp is scheduled during the first week of August.
