Missions

At LifePointe, we believe it is vitally important to share the good news of Jesus with people all over the world.  In fact, Acts 1:8 states you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth . This translates into sharing our faith locally, nationally and internationally.  Listed below are all of the missionaries and organizations that Lifepointe currently supports.  In addition to supporting these missionaries and organizations,

LifePointe coordinates different projects that members of the congregation can get directly involved in: an annual Mexico Missions Trip, community outreach every 4th of July, and our Takin’ it to the Streets Ministry.

Carpenters Ministry

As Christ, the Carpenter, gave his entire life in service to others, so the Carpenters Ministry willingly, generously and joyfully gives of their Skills, Talents and Time to those in need, within our congregation, to the Glory of God.

The name “Carpenters Ministry” was chosen to glorify the works and deeds of our Lord Jesus Christ.  While Jesus was a carpenter by trade he performed many different acts of kindness to those in need during his years of teaching all the while bringing glory to the Father.

The purpose of the ministry is to bring glory to God by providing service(s) to the family of Lifepointe Christian Church.  If you are willing to contribute your skills, talents or time to those in our church who are in need then please notify the Carpenters Ministry's at: carpenters@lifepointe.org.  When a specific need within the church arises you may be called upon to apply your skill, talent or time.

The Carpenters Ministry offers Lifepointe’s congregation a multi-purpose ministry in which they can seek help from when other traditional sources (friends, family, saving accounts, etc.) have been exhausted.  If you have a non-monetary need and are unable to otherwise meet that need, the Carpenters Ministry may be able to help.  Submit a detailed request for assistance to the Carpenters Ministry's at: carpenters@lifepointe.org.

Additionally, the Carpenters Ministry's “Gift of Groceries” provides free groceries to families of our congregation that are finding it difficult to meet budget in any area of life.  Groceries are provided every Thursday afternoon at New Hope Community Church located at 1821 Meadowview Rd, Sacramento and will be ready for you to pick up between 2:30 and 3:30 PM.  If you would like to participate you must either sign up each Sunday at Grand Central or notify the Carpenters Ministry at: carpenters.groceries@lifepointe.org
